explain the dramatic irony of lines 100-112 in scene 3. Why is macbeth's action signifigant

These lines by Macbeth are his expression of undying love for Duncan, trying to excuse the fact that he killed the guards before anyone could question them. This is dramatic irony because the audience knows he is the one that killed Duncan, and killed the guards to cover his tracks.
