m + l = 13 [m = 13 - l]

8m + 10l = 108

8(13 - l) + 10l = 108
104 - 8l + 10l = 108
2l = 4
L = 2

M = 13 - 2 = 11

There are two large pizzas and eleven medium pizzas.
