The most studied transform fault in the world is "San Andrea's fault".
The point where two plates slide with one another i called Transform Plate Boundaries. The fracture zone which makes a transform plate boundary is known as a transform fault.
"San Andrea's fault" runs for around 1200 km through California (A rough estimate).
