According to Douglas Adler's study, the material consequences of aggressively promoting women in the workplace is that it will lead to higher wages across the board. This may lead to increase in the expenses and it might lead to low profitability. In some cases, women work less hours as compared to the male counterparts and this may cause the income generated per labor force to decrease marginally.
