Can someone explain the suez crisis for me

The Suez Crisis was a huge invasion of Egypt during the late 1950's. This invasion was by Israel which followed by the U.K as well as France. it started in October in 1956. This was to regain Western control of the Suez Canal and also to remove the Egyptian president, Gamal.
