They believed it gave the government too much power in the economy.They didn't think the finacial system had any problems.

Republicans and conservative democrats. Most opposition came from the republicans and conservatives because the new deal program seem to really innovative and goes out the way of traditional method in handling the economy, in which they spent more budget to create more jobs
