the answer is zero because the reciprocal isof 7 is -7 + 3 = 0

3+1/n=7/n  make them all have a common denominator of n

3(n/n)+1/n=7/n

3n/n+1/n=7/n  multiply both sides by n

3n+1=7  subtract 1 from both sides

3n=6  divide both sides by 3

n=2
