There are 2[tex] \pi [/tex] radians in 360 degrees, so there are 5[tex] \pi [/tex]/3 radians in 300 degrees.

300 degrees x (pi/180) = 5pi/3
if you STARTED with 5pi/3 radians, to get to degrees, you would:
5pi/3 x (180/pi) = 300 degrees
