The United States’ official withdrawal was in 1973. Would you consider the U.S.’s involvement in Vietnam a success or failure for us in regards to the overall Cold War? Why?
The United States withdrew from the Vietnam War for several reasons. The Army had to fight in unfamiliar territory, was lacking in moral, were not prepared for the conditions, and were untrained to respond to warfare.
