[tex]b = 5, \: g = 3, \: r = 8[/tex]

[tex]total = 5 + 3 + 8 = 16[/tex]

[tex]p(b) = \frac{5}{16} [/tex]

[tex]p(g |without \: replacement|) = \frac{3}{16 - 1} = \frac{3}{15} = \frac{1}{5} \\ [/tex]

[tex]p(b \: and \: g) = \frac{5}{16} \times \frac{1}{5} = \frac{1}{16} [/tex]
