Equation/Question:

Solve for b. 3(b + -2)-8=-5 what is the answer?

Answer/Steps to answer:

1.Simplify  b+-2 to b−2.

3(b−2)−8=−5

2. Add 8 to both sides.

3(b-2)=-5+8

3. Simplify  -5+8  to  3.
