After school I got a small cut on my arm. Although I washed it and put on a Band-Aid, the area was red, swollen, and I didn’t feel 100% normal for a few days. I got better and a scab formed, eventually disappearing in a few weeks. What was going on inside my after the cut?

New skin begins to form over this tissue. As the wound heals, the edges pull inward and the wound gets smaller

Explanation: I hope this is good enough
