A veterinarian is changing the diets of two animals, Simba and Cuddles. Simba currently consumes 1,300 Calories per day. That number will increase by 100 Calories each day. Cuddles currently consumes 2,700 Calories a day. That number will decrease by 180 Calories each day. The patterns will continue until both animals are consuming same number of Calories each day. In how many days will that be? How many Calories will the animals be consuming each day then? In days Simba and Cuddles will be consuming the same amount of calories. Simba and Cuddles will be consuming calories each day.

OK so the question tells us that S ( Simba ) eats 1,300 calories per day and will gain 100 per day and C ( Cuddles ) eats 2,700 calories per day and will loose 180 per day. Because of this Day 1 will be S = 1400 and C = 2520 you will keep going with this method until you reach Day 4 where S = 1700 and C = 1980 then at day 5 they will both be eating 1800 calories per day.
