Step-by-step explanation:

It is supposed that K lies on the line JL. Also, JK = 4n+3 and KL = 2n+7.

JL = JK + KL

Put the values of JK and KL, we get :

25 = 4n+3+2n+7

Taking like terms together,

25-3-7=4n+2n

15 = 6 n

n = [tex]\dfrac{15}{6}=2.5[/tex]

Put n in JK = 4n+3 = 4(2.5) +3 = 13

Put n in KL = 2n+7 = 2(2.5) +7 = 12
