Explanation:

speed= distance / time

speed answer must be in m/s

so convert 300km in to m

multiply 300km by  1000 to get 300000m

time must be in seconds so multiply 6 hours by 3600 to get 21600s

so 300000m/21600s = 13.8889 m/s
