Hey there!

To find the volume of any prism, you multiply the base by the height. However, we want to find the base here. So, we do it backwards and take the volume and divide it by the height, and this will give us our base!

50÷7.5=6 2/3

Therefore, the area of the base of a pentagonal prism with a volume of 50 cubic centimeters and a height of 7.5 centimeters is 6 2/3 square centimeters.
