Do you feel that you were challenged to think and learn in English class? If not, what do you suggest could be done to challenge you to think and learn?

I believe if they developed goals at the beginning of the year it would help.

Explanation:

I would love to have a teacher that made me set a goal to finish writing a story and make sure that I followed through with it, because normally I'd write for a day or two and then stop, but if I knew it was for a grade I'd be more into writing.
