if the length is 5yds more than its x+5 is the length and x is the width then you use the perimeter formula p=L+L+W+W so it is x+5+x+5+x+x=70 then subtract the 10 to get 5x=60 then divid to get x=16 which is the width. Then the length is x+5 so it is 12+5=17 which is the length. hope this helps
