Why wouldn’t people the government want to create strict sugar regulations?

Answer:

The only reason the government hasn't put into place a strict sugar regulation, is because there is sugar in almost everything we consume. Whether it be added sugar, sweeteners, or natural sugar from fruits. Sugar is everywhere, and while it would be a good idea to have a sugar restriction, it's just simply not possible.
