What price does Frankenstein pay for his pursuit of knowledge

If I'm thinking correctly, Frankenstein teaches us how looking for knowledge can be a dangerous thing. See, Unlike God, Victor cannot take care of his monster and therefore is the payment for the price of knowledge. The pursuit of knowledge, therefore, is a high price to pay. This is what I think If I read your question correctly, which I may or may not of thought of it right but this is the answer I have.
