Otto von Bismarck led German unification by appealing to national feelings and through three wars.

1. Danish War (Against Denmark)

2. 7 Weeks War (Against Austria)

3. Franco-Prussian War (Against France)

He won all three. The last one was the most important and led to the creation of the German empire.

Hope this helps!
