It's fals if x equals 0. Therefore no solution .


-8(0)+8=-16

0+8=-16

8=-16 no solution


If solving how it suppose to be then it will be see below .


Move the constant to the right side

-8x= -16-8


-8x=-24


Now divide both sides by -8


X=-24/-8


X=3
