5 yd 1 ft is 5 yd plus 1 ft. Convert 5 yd into ft and add the 1 ft to that conversion.

5 yd x [tex] \frac{3 ft}{1 yd} [/tex] = 15 ft

5 ft 1 yd = 15 ft + 1 ft = 16 ft

Now multiply that by 4.

16 ft x 4 = 64 ft

Answer: 64 ft
