Do you know the saying keep, change, flip?

Here's what I mean 3/8 X 4/2

When we solve that, we get 12/16

We need to simplify. We know that 4 can go into both of these numbers so

12/4 = 3

16/4 = 4

Your new fraction is 3/4 because it cannot be reduced anymore
